As a member of the Moon Committee, he is in charge of determining Moon's business strategy and activity policy and selecting in-house entrepreneurs.
He has worked for Mitsui & Co. for more than 30 years and has served as General Manager of the Iron Ore Division,Planning & Administrative Division (Metals) and Investment Administrative Division. Currently, as CSO, he is in charge of Corporate Units such as Corporate Planning & Strategy Division, Investment Administrative Division, Corporate Communications Division and Corporate Sustainability Division.
He graduated from the Department of Materials Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University with a bachelor's degree, and completed the PED (Program for Executive Development) at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
On the weekends, he enjoys walking with his two dogs, playing golf, and watching sports.
