You have basic consulting skills and enjoy explaining the “why” and “how” and managing expectations from different stakeholders, including ventures, Moon executives, Business developers, Business designers, and many more. But more than just consulting, you have strong skill and passion in executing the creation of new businesses.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Identify and evaluate potential investments and execute deals&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will act as the focal point of deal sourcing, identifying new investment opportunities in innovative startups and new technologies using your knowledge, expertise and network in the startup industry. You also have the knowledge and confidence to propose new opportunity areas or markets where you believe our current ventures or future ventures may play for competitive advantage. You will also be leading all stages of deal execution working with other members of Moon, from conducting and organising due diligence, determining the valuation of the investment, discovering successful exit opportunities as well as proposing deal terms and negotiating with the founder/management of the potential investments. Furthermore, you will be working with the investment team to conceive and execute ideas to build a large scale business in ways of, including but not limited to establishing JVs and roll-up M&amp;amp;A.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You will act as an advisor/investor to our ventures, both within Moon and beyond, on growth strategy, business model optimization, and key metrics, based on the deal terms and the return expectations of the Moon Committee (investment decision making body). You may be on the Board of Directors of our portfolio companies and support their recruiting and fundraising activities as required, helping the management teams to achieve self-sustaining operations whether through later rounds of Mitsui funding, third party funding, forming alliances or joint ventures with large(r) companies or acquisition. As part of the investing team you will also be monitoring the growth of the investments as a portfolio and will be recommending to the Moon Committee on the timing, measures and strategy for their exits.&lt;/p&gt;

Based out of our Tokyo studio, you have a strong background in public relations, digital marketing, event marketing, community development and internal communications. &lt;li&gt;Working with a diverse set of learners across both Moon and our parent organization, you will need a creative human-centered approach to assess learning needs, a keen understanding of effective and agile design methods, and a technical aptitude to produce content and materials at speed&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You will partner with Moon’s workshop design and facilitation team, subject matter experts and also stakeholders in our parent organization to scope, design, and build learning solutions&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You will create learning experiences that engage and excite Moon and parent company employees while aligning with business needs, satisfying resource constraints, and delivering on intended learning and business outcomes&lt;/li&gt;
