Shingo Kaiya

Global Head of Strategic Operations/Legal

Shingo Kaiya is the Global Head of Strategic Operations, responsible for the orchestration of various functions at Moon. He joined Tohmatsu & Co. in 1997, earned a Master's Degree in Strategic HRM in the U.S., and after working at two Japanese companies, joined Mitsui & Co. in 2010. In the CFO Unit, he engaged in investment administration, management support for subsidiaries and investees, and consolidated financial reporting before starting an intrapreneurship in 2018. After two years of new business development, he returned to the ICT Business Unit in 2021, where he served as CEO of a hospital DX solution subsidiary for three years. After being seconded to Moon in April 2025, he oversees Operations, Accounting, Legal, and General Affairs functions, and supports intrapreneurs. He loves skiing (with over 40 years experience), walking on the grass with a golf club, and driving, and dreams of a dual-base (city and countryside) lifestyle.
