Kaori Kawauchi is the Senior IT/Workplace Lead at Moon Creative Lab. With over 20 years of bilingual experience spanning technology, global operations, and facility management, she is a hands-on specialist in building and optimizing corporate IT infrastructure. Kaori manages and orchestrates end-to-end IT infrastructure, AV systems, and network operations across both Moon’s Palo Alto HQ and Tokyo studio. Driving IT governance to match rapid organizational growth, Kaori leads annual IT audits and maintains strict compliance with enterprise security frameworks (ISMS/ISO27001), enforcing strict access controls for IPO readiness, implementing Mobile Device Management (MDM) using Jamf, and optimizing SaaS management to achieve a 20% cost reduction. Kaori has been a passionate, die-hard supporter of the J-League football club FC Tokyo for 23 years. She also regularly tracks games as an amateur baseball scorer, maintains an active lifestyle by running 100 kilometers every month, and is a proud and energetic grandmother of two.
